Such apps have contributed a lot to the market and have made the life of the users very easy. Today we are giving you information about some such apps in which Ratan Tata has invested.

1. Ola Electric
Ratan Tata invested in Ola Electric Mobility Pvt Ltd (Ola Electric) in the year 2019. However, its amount was not disclosed. If seen, Ola Electric has captured a lot of market in a short time. 2. Paytm
Ratan Tata invested in Paytm in the year 2015. It is a digital payments platform. Paytm is spread from door to door today and people pay with it almost every day.

3. Snapdeal

Snapdeal is the first e-commerce firm in which Ratan Tata invested. He is believed to have taken a 0.17 per cent stake in Snapdeal in August 2014. According to reports, Ratan Tata had invested less than Rs 5 crore.

4. CarDekho

CarDekho, one of the largest auto search platform in the country helps users to buy cars online. Ratan Tata has also invested in Girnar Soft, the parent company of CarDekho, BikeDekho, PriceDekho.

5. is a health and fitness start-up that has raised $170 million from investors such as Accel Partners, Kalaari Capital, Chirata Ventures and Ratan Tata.

6. UrbanLadder
Urban Ladder is a Bengaluru based online furniture retailer. The online furniture retailer secured funding from Ratan Tata in November 2015. This was Ratan Tata’s second private investment in an e-commerce firm, after Snapdeal.

7. Zivame

Ratan Tata has also invested in Zivame. It was funded by Ratan Tata in September 2015. However, the information about how much was invested has not been given.

8. Urban Company

In December 2015, funding was given from Ratan Tata in Urban Company. Urban Company is a Gurgaon based services marketplace.

9. Abra
Ratan Tata has also invested in Silicon Valley-based bitcoin start-up Abra along with American Express. The start-up allows users to store digital cash and send money to any smartphone using Abra’s app.

10. Lenskart

Lenskart is a popular online retailer that deals in specs. Tata had invested in this in April 2016.
