Facebook Expands Messenger Kids to India and Adds New Features
Facebook has now expanded its messaging app focused at kids named Messenger Kids to more than 70 countries together with India. The app was initially launched again in 2017 within the US as a device to assist kids keep in contact with family and friends.

“With schools closed and people physically distancing, parents are turning to technology more than ever to help their kids connect with friends and family…Today, we’re starting to roll out Messenger Kids to more countries and we’re adding new choices for parents to connect kids with friends.”, wrote the corporate in a weblog publish.

With this international rollout, Facebook has added three new options to Messenger Kids. First up, there’s a function Facebook calls Supervised Friending, which lets dad and mom select to permit their children to simply accept, reject, add, or take away contacts. Parents shall be notified when children take friending actions and could have the controls to override contact approvals by way of Parent Dashboard. The function shall be first accessible within the US.
