What is the similarity and difference between iPhone 13 and 14:

Now as the prices of the iPhone 13 have come down, so today we are comparing the base variants of these two phones here. In terms of design and build, not much has changed in the new iPhone 14. Unlike the iPhone 14 Pro model, both the cheapest iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are almost on the same footing. One major difference here is that the iPhone 14 Plus replaces the iPhone 13 mini and has the same size as the larger iPhone 14 Pro Max. This is a great move by the company as users who want to buy an iPhone with a bigger screen, do not necessarily have to spend money for the top-end model.

When it comes to the display, the iPhone 14 is more or less on par with the iPhone 13. On the other hand, the iPhone 14 Plus naturally has a bigger panel, but its specifications have been given the same. Talking about the size of both the smartphones, its dimensions are the same (5.78 x 2.82 x 0.31), so there is no difference in the size of both. Apart from this, the position and look of the panel, camera are also exactly the same. If these two phones are kept in front of you, then you cannot tell the difference just by looking at them.

What’s on Chip Updates:

The A15 Bionic chip has been used in both the phones. Although this thing may upset some people because this is the first time that Apple has launched a new iPhone with the previous generation chipset. However, the iPhone 14 has a new and improved modem that offers better connectivity and efficiency. Additionally, Apple’s new satellite connectivity allows you to send emergency messages to the iPhone 14 by connecting you directly to the satellite when you’re out of range of a cell tower. Apart from this, the iPhone 14 also has the facility of automatically sending notifications to emergency services and close contacts and crash detection in case the user gets into a serious accident.

This change has been done in the specification:

Although both the iPhone 14 and iPhone 13 have the same camera, but despite this, there is definitely some upgrade in the specification of the iPhone 14. The iPhone 14 has two new camera sensors, which are said to capture more light and take better shots in low light. Additionally, the main camera on the iPhone 14 comes with the same f/1.5 aperture as the main sensor on the iPhone 13 Pro. The biggest improvement on the new iPhone 14 comes in the form of a new 12-megapixel camera that supports autofocus. The new selfie camera sensor also offers better low-light photography. If seen, the biggest change in both the phones is found in the form of the sensor of the camera.

As far as the battery is concerned, the company claims that the iPhone 14 has the best battery ever. Although the exact answer about it can be given only after its use. But the company claims that the iPhone 14 gets 20 hours of video playback and the iPhone 14 Plus gets 26 hours of playback. Whereas in iPhone 13, this figure was 19 hours.

Generally iPhones are also known for their better battery life, if seen, iPhone 13 also gives you better backup. Apart from this, the company has used 6 GB RAM in iPhone 14 and iPhone 13 comes with only 4 GB RAM. Therefore, it is possible that there may be a difference in the performance of both the phones during multi task. Both these phones are available in Midnight, Starlight, Pink, Blue, Green and Product Red colours, but the iPhone 14 does not come in Pink color only.

How beneficial is buying iPhone 14:

The price difference between iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 is around Rs 10,000. In terms of look, design, features and technology, these two phones are mostly similar, although the company has reduced the weight of the iPhone 14 by a few ounces, which makes it lighter than the iPhone 13. The biggest update on the new phone is going to be seen in the quality of the camera, so if you spend a lot of your time taking photos and videos then the new iPhone 14 will be worth the upgrade. Additionally, the iPhone 14 Plus now makes a larger iPhone more accessible, whereas spending the money on the first iPhone Pro Max would be the better option.
