Netflix to round out The Dragon Prince saga with four more seasons

The Dragon Prince season 3 may have been the top, with Callum and Rayla coming along with a flicker of romance, and a significant struggle for Xadia’s future gained by the great guys. But there was all the time extra to the story — seven deliberate seasons, to be actual — and it was all the time the hope of co-creators Aaron Ehasz and Justin Richmond that Netflix may take them there. If they didn’t, there have been e book offers with Scholastic and attainable interactive choices on the desk, however the concept was to finish the “saga” in animation.

And now it’s a sealed deal: At the 2020 San Diego Comic-Con panel for the collection, Ehasz introduced that Netflix had renewed The Dragon Prince for 4 further seasons.

According to a follow-up information launch, The Dragon Prince seasons 4 by means of 7 will every have 9 episodes, and work has already begun on the brand new batch.

The Dragon Prince weathered a tough storm in anticipation of season 3, when a number of former workers claimed Ehasz and Wonderstorm had created an abusive work setting. In the wake of that dialog, no formal motion was taken towards Ehasz, although a Wonderstorm couldn’t affirm if there was an inside investigation of the matter. Ultimately, the workforce continued their work on the collection, which now expands past the scope of the present.

Along with the four-season pickup, the franchise is ready to broaden with the upcoming launch of Through the Moon (The Dragon Prince Graphic Novel #1), a canon, authentic story set between seasons 3 and 4 , and the newly introduced Tales of Xadia, a tabletop roleplaying recreation set on the planet of the collection.

A premiere date for season 4, which is at the moment in pre-production, has but to be decided.
