What is IMEI Number and how it helps you:
IMEI stands for International Mobile Equipment Identity. It is a unique number to identify a device on a mobile network. It consists of 15 marks. This number comes in handy when your handset is lost or stolen. Through this you can also file a complaint. You can be sure that whoever stole your phone cannot use it. Your mobile network operator may refuse to list a device based on its IMEI number. This means that calls will not be able to be made on the phone and other things will not be done either. How to check IMEI on your Android phone:
The easiest way to check the IMEI number on an Android phone is by dialing *#06#. The number that will appear on your screen as soon as you dial it will be the IMEI number. If the phone is dual sim then you will see two IMEI numbers.
