YouTube Music is Now Available on Android TV
Google has reportedly added YouTube Music on Android TV. At its present state, the service exists as a separate tab on the YouTube app for Android TV. According to Android Police, Google has added the Music tab together with the YouTube Music emblem on YouTube app by means of a latest server-side change.

The tab gives entry to a number of YouTube Music options together with the music you want, the ‘Music For You’ part that options Your Mix, Your Likes, Discover Mix, Genre, and Mood Stations, Playlists, Artist Stations, and Recommended Playlists. The report factors out that music playback immediately begins if you spotlight a mixture. In different phrases, you’ll not need to press any button to start out taking part in songs.

However, there’s a big limitation with the YouTube Music integration for now – background playback. As of now, the music you’ve been taking part in will cease if you change apps. Hence, you’ll have to go the Chromecasting means if you should play your library on YouTube Music.

The record doesn’t finish right here. There are apparently no choices to shuffle/repeat or toggle audio/video both. Other limitations embrace lack of playlist administration, no entry to the entire library, uploaded music, and time-synced lyrics.

Google needs to be fixing many of the limitations listed right here over the approaching months. If you will have an Android TV, you need to be seeing the Music tab proper now, because the function appears to have gotten a large rollout. In case you’re not seeing it, make certain your YouTube app is up to date to the latest version on Google Play.
